PTA is Connecting Families, Schools and Communities!

The Regina Islamic School (RIS) Parent Teacher Association is a non-profit parent teacher Association (PTA) whose mission is to establish and sustain a close relationship between the parents, teachers, and students by rising opportunities within the home, school, and community. The PTA provides assistance to teachers within the classroom settings, raises funds for educational materials and experiences, advocates school and family social interaction, and provides an neutral forum for sharing information on concerns that impact our children. It is our belief that the team effort of a parent teacher Association offers the best possible learning environment for our children.

The goals and objectives of the RIS Parent Teacher Association are as follows:

• Uphold communication between students, faculty, and parents.
• Foster and improve the educational environment.
• Recruit and coordinate volunteer efforts for programs and projects that support and enrich the curriculum and educational goals for RIS.
• Create and nurture a sense of community amongst RIS.
